The Jacksonville group Compassionate Families, Inc. is working with local artists on its "Portraits of Hope" project to reach out to those who’ve been affected by this area’s high homicide rate. Melissa Ross spoke with Jacklyn Overby, project coordinator with Compassionate Families, and portrait artist Kaytee Esser on First Coast Connect, after the jump.
