I noticed Monday that the vacant lot on the west corner of Magnolia and Jackson was cleaned up (trash and all underbrush removed) and a for-sale sign is now up. The north corner is the Brooklyn Riverside apartments, the east corner is Fresh Market, and the south corner is going to be 200 Riverside. It will be interesting to see who buys it and what they plan to do with it. If nothing else, it is nice to see all the litter removed.
Survey crew has been out at Forest and Magnolia the last 2 days and this morning there were survey stakes around the gravel parking lot west of Unity Plaza pond. Did some asking around and was told it was for a hotel and retail development.
