Title: Info for moderncities.com
Post by: acme54321 on June 28, 2016, 07:12:54 AM
I don't know why but our work computers are blocking all content hosted at moderncities.com, but MJ seems normal.  Anyone else having these problems?

It probably has to do with the age of the domain (brand new) and that it is an unknown site. MJ has been around for 10 years now, so it's well established. You may be able to put in a request at work to have it unblocked.

I get these type of calls a lot at work.  Barracuda (web/spam filter company) has that domain blacklisted. Your company probably uses this or a similar service to filter their web content . The owner of the moderncities.com domain has to contact barracuda to get the blacklist designation removed, or your company's IT department will need to whitelist it, depending on their policy. Some sites our IT department won't whitelist certain websites if they've been known to contain malicious software.

Ah...I didn't realize this was a project from the creators of MJ until just now. Pretty cool!

It's no longer on the blacklist for Barracuda. Someone made some magic happen!

^I don't know if that will fix things but an inquiry was made to Barracuda. ;)
