I was in Clayton just 6 months ago.
Interesting city in that their zoning and layout goals are in clear contrast to the surrounding suburbs. Almost like an urban setting in suburbia. Many investment firms that support the greater STL area locate their offices in those Clayton high rises.
Clayton also has some fantastic residential architecture.
In his application to the NFL to move his franchise from St. Louis to Los Angeles earlier this year, Rams' owner Stan Kroenke said that St. Louis was a dying market and that any owner who moved his team to St. Louis would face financial ruin. I guess he didn't read this story.
^It's dying if you're comparing it apples to apples to LA's market. Heck, just about every secondary US market would be dying under such circumstances.
