Any updates on the eye soar called "The Berkman II" in downtown??

Eyesore? No way! It's this city's version of Hiroshima's Atomic Dome - a memorial to the Great Recession atomic meltdown.

No. Evidently, the market for downtown rentals hovers around $1.50/sf. New construction needs rents in the range of $1.75/sf. For Berkman II to work, they need rents around $1.90/sf.

Too bad Berkman is not located in South PVB, saw a house get listed for $511 per sq ft today.

Is there a ballpark estimate of what the city would need to contribute in order to make the project economically viable?
