QuoteFollowing breaking ground on a new lung restoration center, Mayo Clinic will infuse $100 million into its Jacksonville campus with a new construction project starting this summer.
Mayo's Jacksonville campus is set to begin construction on a center designed to address complex cancer, neurologic and neurosurgical care. The 150,000-square-foot center will be four stories in the beginning, but has the potential to rise up to 11 stories, according to a statement.

Destination health care is a growing market and Jacksonville is definitely setting the pace now.
This brings yet more talent, administrative staff, and others to support the patients coming into town.
Not only is this a great service because of all the new patients they can support, but it increases demand economically in other support services.
Looks like Phase 1 is kicking off.
