3/27/16 I'm kayaking Downtown in my SMART kayak about 9:45 am on the Southbank and there is billowing black smoke that appears to be coming from the Brooklyn area. Anyone.

I could see this from my apartment balcony in riverside... couldn't tell if it was downtown or Brooklyn. What was it? Don't see anything in the news..

East of you. I kept waiting to hear the sound of an emergency vehicle. I was miles away and just kept watching dark black clouds of a fire.
