Title: Leave it to JTA
Post by: Ocklawaha on March 25, 2016, 01:19:04 PM
Laying in yet ANOTHER hospital room (this one in Altamonte Springs, hey at least I've tried them all) I pull up the daily transportation universe on my computer.

Seattle - $50 Billion for Light Rail
Denver - Fast Tracks
Cincinnati - Streetcar During Festivals
Milwaukee - Streetcar Construction
Kansas City - Streetcar testing

Memphis, Nashville, Birmingham, Charlotte headlines?
"ROACHES INFEST BUSES AND ATTACK RIDERS IN JACKSONVILLE!"

Great job boys... God I hope it wasn't a First Coast Flyer!

At least you guys seldom disappoint your 'flying monkey' critics.

Yes, the apologists will now pile on about how many roaches are proper and acceptable on buses in Jacksonville. You know, because this infested bus (and you should see the brown stained filth in the photos) is just another part of life in the sub-tropical paradise.  This is neglect, pure and simple and it's completely unreasonable that our 'TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY,' should allow conditions to deteriorate and Perhaps before apologizing for JTA or Jacksonville perhaps a daily vehicle check inside and out would make a difference. Simple, simple procedures that are not screwed up, at JTA they often don't exist.
