Does anyone know, or can point me in the right direction, how to go about applying for a federal grant to purchase an all electric vehicle? A friend of mine is interested and I know there are tax credits for hybrids and alternative vehicles, but I've heard of grants given by the state to apply for federal funds when someone is interested in producing or procurring an all electric vehicle.
Does any of this sound right?
Come to Austin. They're all over the place. And if you live here you get a tax credit as well.
