I noticed #17 when in Avondale the other day.  It looks like there is quite a bit of interesting architectural detail hiding under that ugly siding façade.  Hopefully they don't cover it all back up.

The "Opening Summer 2016" is simply not going to happen for Cowford Chophouse. Maybe 2017.

BizJournal said it earlier this month it should be fall:

This is by far my most anticipated thing on the list. Besides, BRT, of course :/

Should be in full swing by next months updates.  Pretty sure they had to wait for Monster Jam last weekend before they could get started.

I love that Intuition saved the façade of the original building and is basically building new on the inside and up.  Great reuse guys!!!  Props to Cowford as well, although that one seemed much trickier with the foundation issues and all at the corner.

Fall? Have you driven by?  They are 12 months away from opening a fully functional commercial restaurant.

Correct.  And before the show (I was there) they played a promotional video showing more details of the facility...  gotta say it is going to look great!

Anyone else see the video?

Impressive. This is the best urban update I've seen since I've been following this website. Things are really going up. My wife and I parked the car and took a close look at the Cowford Chophouse work. They're really paying close attention to detail and historical preservation. Wonderful stuff.

Per story on JBJ, Puerta Vallarta,  an upscale Tex-mex restaurant will be opening at the San Marco Train Starion building. They will occupy 3,000 square feet. Majority will be on ground level and 30 seats on second level.   The broker also notes there is a letter of intent for the remaining 2000 square feet.  That tenant was not identified, but the broker called it a "game-changer". Hmmm.

With him comparing the potential for Hendricks to King St. my guess is that the other tenant must be a pretty cool bar or club concept. Great news!

Interesting. So what happens to La Nopalera? Or are they involved in that.

But that can't be enough room for a Macy's?! Maybe an NBA team?

Maybe they are relocating the Cricket Wireless from Atlantic and Hendricks!  Hard to think of a game changer that can fit into 2,000 square feet.  I hope the 2 story mexican place has waterfalls like Casa Bonita.
