Title: SEC Baseball Tourney Looking For A New Home

Why can't we make a play for this? Orlando is mentioned. We have a beautiful baseball stadium about the size that they want. Thoughts?

Of course we should! I'd be very disappointed if we never even inquired. We've previously hosted the ACC tourney.
Sure, technically the baseball grounds isn't a triple-A stadium, and we aren't really central to the SEC footprint, but neither is Orlando. I think it would be a shame if Orlando or Memphis took this over Jax.

This would be awesome if we got it. Jacksonville has a large baseball population, the ospreys are consistently good, as are the sun's and the dolphins.

Memphis and JAX bid for it in 2011 when they decided to stay in Hoover.

First we need to hire a consultant to study the issue, and then after they make a recommendation in 2020, we can consider making a bid.
