those cops look ULTRA friendly :)
awesome turnout. its amazing the draw that art walk is getting. it really transforms the urban core.
If there are unique things to do Downtown people will come!! They will find ways to park and owners of garages will open the gates and make money off of it. This is why I believe if we have destination stores, movie theatres Downtown people would come.
haven't you heard St Johns Towncenter is the new downtown?
The problem is you can't get the movie theaters and destination stores down there without addressing the parking, signage and demographic situation. Those things are apart of their business model.
what are you talking about? JMOCA, Chew, the library, tiara, TSI, boomtown, marks, the london bridge, burrito gallery, and i'm sure i'm missing some.
I know there are many unique things, but I am saying places that draw large crowds on a continous basis from outside of the immediate surronding area. Trust me I visit those places that you mentioned like Burrito Gallery quite often.
Those twins look great!
i can see it's been a while since i've been down to the art walk, or in my case, beer sit at the london bridge...great turn out!
You go Celeste!
The Kevin Hindes Trio was off the chain! Radical!

LOL. I didn't know there were young people in Jax who looked like that.
btw, is Art Walk still this successful?
Yes! We have one coming up soon. With the cooler weather I expect big crowds... :)
