The biggest, and I'd say best, thing to happen in 2015 locally were the municipal elections. I'm excited to see what Mayor Curry will accomplish, and I'm even more excited about this City Council compared to the last couple of cycles. Downtown and the urban core in general continues to improve incrementally, and the Jags even won a couple of games. Personally, I finished grad school and got to write some pieces for Metro Jacksonville, so there's that.
The Laura Street Trio is still "happening soon". For the second year in a row.
