To the EV drivers out there: there are three new L2 charging stations available if you're spending some time downtown.
- MOSH has a station on the side of the building along the Main St bridge. This one charges $0.13 per kWh.
- The JAX Chamber (of commerce) has a station in the corner of the parking lot that backs up to the down ramp from the Main St bridge down onto Ocean St. This one appears to be free but there is an hourly fee to park in the lot. (Not sure how much.)
- The Downtown Library has a station on the 3rd floor of the parking garage at the corner of Duval St & Main St. It is along the Duval St side of the garage. It appears to be free but there is an hourly fee to park. (Not sure how much.)
I took a few pics of the stations but can't seem to insert them in a post. :-[ You'll just have to trust me that they are real. :)

Upload them to a site and from there, post the link.jpg under the Image Button.
Thanks mtrain. I saw that but it's not worth the effort to find a third party site to upload and then link to. If I can't insert into the post then no dice.
There is also one outside the new TPO office in the office park across from the Ritz Theater. It was the first of 27 new Chargewell stations they funded for Duval. Jeff Sheffield (TPO Director) said they are also working on a similar plan for Clay and St Johns.
More info on all 27 stations (2 charge points each) going in around town is here: http://www.northfloridatpo.com/clean_cities/chargewell/ (http://www.northfloridatpo.com/clean_cities/chargewell/)

I just use Facebook. If you don't want your Facebook network to see all these pics just create an album only visible to you.
Yep, those are the ones. It's nice to see 'em going in the ground. I saw Whole Foods in Mandarin and Larry's Giant Subs are also up and running.
Don't forget there is one currently operating in the Water Street Garage (it's on the ground floor).
The Kings Ave Garage and Yates Garage locations are both up and running now as well. The Kings Ave garage is in the middle of the first floor near the reserved parking for the hotel but I don't think that should stop anyone else from using it. The Yates Garage on E Adams St is in the middle of the second floor.
I saw them installing the one at the library parking garage.

Do you know the parking rates for these?
Yates looks like $1/$7/$53 (H/D/M): http://www.downtownjacksonville.org/parking/p-51-yates-garage.aspx (http://www.downtownjacksonville.org/parking/p-51-yates-garage.aspx)
Library looks like $3/$10 (H/D): http://jpl.coj.net/lib/parking.html (http://jpl.coj.net/lib/parking.html)
Both charging stations were free when I saw them.
^Thanks for the info. Looks like Kings Ave station is $1/$15/$27 per the JTA site. http://www.jtafla.com/media-center/news-archives/kings-avenue-garage-open-to-all/
They're not technically downtown, but the charger at the Cummer Museum (at the end of the parking lot across Riverside Ave from the building) and Black Knight/Fidelity/FIS (in the middle of the lot along Riverside Ave just north of Rosselle St) are also up and running now.
Both stations were free when I was there.
