Title: Why did COJ stop picking up trash in Springfield??
Post by: Lunican on October 23, 2015, 05:36:52 PM
It seems that all of a sudden they are picky about the trash they collect. There are piles of trash all around the neighborhood (which they normally pick up) still sitting there. Is this part of the blight improvement project?

The same can be said of tire pick up.
Had a pick up date. Didn't happen. This is Dist.4. Day later called 630-city.  No problem will get the next day. Nothing. Called again. Something has happened with vendor and there are other calls backing up. So I was told. A week later still there. Service has been great in the past. Fight Blight because you know it's right. Stay Positive.

File a complaint with 630-city website, and call your council person.

Springfield is in District 7.  Reggie Gaffney is the councilperson.
