Title: Timoti’s Seafood Shak plans Five Points location
Post by: thelakelander on September 03, 2015, 12:00:49 PM
In July's urban construction update, we included some information about Timoti's Seafood coming to Five Points. Here's an article from the today's Jax Daily Record with more info on this project:

QuoteBy Karen Brune Mathis, Managing Editor

Timoti's Seafood Shak II is in the works for Five Points, branching out from the original in Fernandina Beach.

Timoti's Seafood Shak, which serves only wild caught seafood, operates at 21 N. Third St. in Fernandina Beach. It is owned by Theresa and Timothy Poynter, who also own Café Karibo at 27 N. Third St.

Timoti's Seafood Shak II is going into 1043 Park St. A pending building-permit shows a $275,000 build-out for Timoti's next to Rain Dogs.

Bryan Poynter, son of the founders, said he hopes for a November opening.

Per the article they are planning 320 feet of outdoor seating.  I assume this means the build out will bring in the current store front from what it currently there?  https://www.google.com/maps/place/1043+park+st+jacksonville+fl/@30.3144173,-81.6809455,3a,75y,110.88h,90t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m4!1sgZfzfcmGPUKitXUHylc3xA!2e0!7i13312!8i6656!4b1!4m2!3m1!1s0x0:0x306dc9c115ded3c2!6m1!1e1

The restaurant scene gets even more crowded, but I love Timoti's so I'm really excited about this one.

What do these people have against spelling. If you understand what people are saying why must you be a grammar cop?

Although I am loath to respond to you, there is a difference between spelling and grammar. There's also a thing such as humor, which appears to have eluded you in this instance.

...not trying to be a "grammar cop" or anything.

Adam being I don't care for you or what you do for a living. Thank you for your comment. :)

I think another great add for 5 Points!   This area seems to be getting it right. I hope I am allowed to make an actual comment about the thread!  Is this allowed??

I think the restaurant will do really well. One thing this area lacks is a good seafood restaurant. Not all we need is a Indian restaurant and 3fx
