A team of firefighters are here for the finance meeting to speak to the committee members about salary cuts that have affected them.
Crescimbeni is best described today as a bully. He's being very condescending, doing everything he can to undermine those around him.
I think Crescimbeni is actually having fun making his audience and fellow council members cringe.

Well its over now. The funding was passed and Bill Gulliford made the dutiful remarks on the long passed death of the horse everyone was kicking.
He told the Fire Chief to get out while the getting was good.
The Fire department took the advice of Lady Macbeth and stayed not on the order of their leaving but left at once.

And dick Schellenberg in his column in the Mandarin Newsline indicated that as he starts his last term due to term limits that he thinks they should be 12 years not the current 8 years. He noted that he thought 8 years was a great idea when he supported it years ago, but now sees it as a hindrance to getting Duval County people in leadership roles statewide. God only knows what he has up his sleeve.
