Title: BurgerFi in Brooklyn Now Open
Post by: fieldafm on August 20, 2015, 01:04:14 PM
BurgerFi finally opened in Brooklyn Station yesterday.  Judging by the lunch and dinner lines, I think Brooklyn can support all the new restaurants popping up and then some.

Building looks nice. Glad to see that it's finished. Feels like it took forever.

Once the 3 restaurants are open over there, parking is going to be madness.  During the fall-spring I'll walk over, but summer is too rough.  That area is ripe for a skyway station.

Get out of here with your logic. Unless you have several million to throw at a study... Who am I kidding even with a $20 million study it'll never get done.

JTA has to figure out the future of the Skyway is before expanding. Can't get parts to keep the current trains running for much longer.

Would love to see the addition of Brooklyn though. It would really tie together Brooklyn and Downtown not to mention the Southbank. Imagine taking the Skyway from your condo at the Peninsula over to BurgerFi for some dinner and the stop by the Fresh Market for a few items before hopping on the train to go home. Or leaving your car parked at your 220 Riverside apartment and taking the train everyday to your downtown office. Isn't that how urban living is supposed to work?
