Title: McCoy's Creek Art Center on Corbett St.
Post by: river4340 on July 17, 2015, 12:21:46 PM
QuoteThe more you talk to Jeff Edelson, the more ideas he throws out there for his buildings on Corbett Street: Art studio, yoga studio, cafe, sculpture garden ...
There's more: Food trucks, weekend farmers market, design and fashion, kayak launch ...

"Every day someone has a new idea that's better than mine," he said. "Maybe we can show Friday night movies against that wall."

Edelson recently bought a complex of buildings at the dead end of Corbett Street, off Stockton Street and on the banks of McCoy's Creek. Excel Chemical mixed floor waxes and cleaning supplies there for about 30 years, but now Edelson is cleaning it up, spray-painting the walls and ceiling.
