Title: Hashrocket Developing "Uber" of Helicopter Travel
Post by: TheCat on July 14, 2015, 10:35:28 AM
QuoteA former Jacksonville resident now living in Stamford, Connecticut., is tapping the skills of local software development shop Hashrocket to build an app to power his helicopter reservation system.

Jacksonville native Ray Leavitt, who founded his EvoLux Transportation company in 2011 in Boca Raton, contracted with Hashrocket, based in Jacksonville Beach, to develop a global reservation system for regional helicopter transport.
EvoLux's "Skylimo" service lets customers shop flight rates and reserve chartered helicopter rides. The company also sells VIP memberships, which allows clients to book flights at very short notice.
