Title: Chicago Transit Authority videos
Post by: johnnyroadglide on July 07, 2015, 01:18:58 PM
Ever wondered what it be like to ride in the front cab with the train operator on a superb subway system? Well if you go to YouTube and do a search for CTA, you will find a number of videos done by the Chicago Transit Authority that feature all of their lines. You can ride in real time or chose one of the 5 times faster videos. They run from as short as 8 minutes up to almost an hour and a half. I have been riding the blue line to O'Hare airport today in real time. And at several station stops you can even change trains and ride a different route.

I used to live off the Brown Line when I lived in Chicago and agree.  It goes through some of the prettiest neighborhoods and has great views of downtown the whole ride.  I miss the Brown Line . . . . don't miss the high cost of living though.
