Why ripoff Austin's meme?
Austin uses the phrase "Keep Austin weird" and they did indeed start that but it was quickly adopted in Portland too. Since then the "Make ____ weird" slogan is used in a few different US cities to basically convey a wish to see a little more of what makes Portland and Austin cool in their own town. That's about it. I mentioned it to a few of my cousins that live in Portland and they thought it was actually a cool idea and made them happy to hear that Jax has a little desire for "weirdness" too.

It also is used by Louisville and Indianapolis. And there's a "Make Chattanooga Weird" movement.
