I think there's three key reasons why Alvin Brown lost his reelection bid.

1. Curry beating the 'violent crime' drum throughout his campaign, coinciding with the recent violent spike of crime and the imaginary political BS belief that a politician actually can control kids that aren't being raised properly.

2. Brown IMO had a disastrous last debate against Curry.

3. Brown's campaign was outfunded 4-1.

I'm trying to remain positive, but with Curry is, IMO there's alot of uncertainties. IMO Brown should've gotten reelected, but it is what it is.
I would agree with most of this.
The Curry campaign was, through "digital media", able to associate Brown with Hillary Clinton. More solid evidence was the defeat of Lisa King against a candidate who never showed. Lisa shared on her Facebook post that the Duval GOP emailed twice pics of Lisa with Hillary in photo ops she had. This was stated on AGs story with an interveiw of Robin Lumb, the real winner of Jacksonville politics in 2015.
And there is nothing wrong with it. You cant pick a more loathed politican in Jacksonville than Hillary Clinton.

I really cannot imagine what you are on about.  Other than a flyer that Lenny sent out about Hillary, most of the campaign was about imaginary crime, police cutbacks and equally imaginary money waste.
Truth hurts.

Yeah, Stephen has a seriously vested interest in not seeing this. A.G. Gancarski is no right-winger. Seems clear enough to him.
QuoteThe Duval GOP is well-positioned for 2016 and beyond. Lumb brings an understanding of politics on all levels to his role, and combines it with a clear understanding of how Jacksonville works. How will the Duval Democrats respond? Given that Curry has strong ties with many Republicans in the 2016 field, GOTV efforts for Republicans will be in full effect in November 2016, and the Duval GOP will be at the forefront of the action.
Absolutely, positively. And those midpropensity voters? More than likely, death for Hillary.

Before you start measuring the drapes, you might want to consider that Hillary's campaign will have Obama's people involved, an they understand GOTV and all things around campaigns, better than the Duval County Democratic Party.

The apparent fact that Brown suddenly turned on his principals and aligned with Obama/Hillary in the last two weeks, is reason enough why he turned a probable victory into defeat. You don't have to be 'old' or 'young' to want to vomit every time one of the leading Democrats apologizes for America being America, being built on Jewish and Christian principals, or having exercised it's right to defend itself. I can't tell you how many VA hospitals and clinics as well as military offices where the photo of our leader is turned toward the wall. Don't discount the 2.3 million military 'youth' who will vote... and it won't be Democrat.

I had hoped our leadership and electorate would have woke up before we turned Israel into an pseudo-enemy aggressor nation and climbed in bed with the boys from Iran. Anyone that preaches that the deals with Iran are in any way right or peaceful are going to relive the mockery of Chamberlin's "PEACE IN OUR TIME" deal with Hitler. I'm fully predicting the completion of the Democrat splatter that happened in the mid terms.

Hell Stephen, you might be writing articles on the existence of any party that can stand in front of the Republican steamroller by 2020. I think, at least for now, your Democrats are done and done for.
