Title: Bi-Lo Holdings LLC is now Southeastern Grocers

Bi-Lo Holdings LLC, the parent company of BI-LO, Harveys and Winn-Dixie Stores Inc., has officially changed its name to Southeastern Grocers to avoid confusion.

Or, someone decided they needed all new logos, stationary and someone just got a nice fat juicy contract for the change!

Its almost as exciting as the thread about changing the City Flag...

This is probably led by the councilman himself and not that many other people, but is definitely something you don't see everyday. The eminent domain part is pretty silly, but this closing even if only temporary, will no doubt put many lower income folks in a bind. It is a pretty substantial example of the price current residents pay for gentrification.  There are literally thousands of apartments and thousands of hotel rooms either recently completed, under construction or about to start within a square mile of this store.
