invite him to training camp if you want, but he's not good.
What makes you think he can play linebacker?
If the goal is to win games, then it would be a bad idea to bring him in for a tryout at LB since that isn't his position.

Rofl... thanx NRW!
Is the goal to grab headlines or win football games? He's already tried to make two NFL rosters, and failed.
The same can be said of Tim Tebow, and now, after 2 years in a TV booth, someone is giving him another chance.
They have so many QBs in front of him, he'll be lucky to make the team. I wish him the best though.

Camp arm.
Sam signed with Montreal in the CFL today.
Great opportunity for Michael Sam to prove himself.

Michael Sam walks away from football.

probably smart for him to do so. Great college player but too slow to play on the pro level.
^ I think it is more about him being too big to be a linebacker too small for the line, classic tweener.

yup
It looks like Tim Tebow will be on the Eagles Roster. The Jags should have picked him up. Pretty certain Stephen Morris will never see the field.
Tebow again? lol

Tebow hasn't even played a down yet and is currently fourth on the depth chart at QB.
Well, their first pre-season game is today, so no one has played a down yet.
I'm not a Tebow fan, but he should have been given an opportunity to win a roster spot on the 3-13 2014 Jags team.
He is supposed to play quite a bit today. With the advent of the new 30 yard PAT, he could become a 2 point conversion specialist.
Was wondering how Tebows name got brought into a topic about Michael Sam. But then it all made sense...just retitle the thread " Overhyped players that can't stay on a pro roster".

Oh great. Another one of these conversations. ;)
Games done. He played OK. Did rush for a touchdown. Not a Tebow fan, but still don't see how he would have hurt this franchise, which has won a total of 9 games versus 39 loses the last 3 years.
Blah blah blah.... *sigh*
All Shad Kahn asked of Tebow was that he want to be here. Tebow said no thanks I want New York.

This.
Tebow chose New York, and after that Khan washed his hands of him. If he didn't want to be here, Khan didn't want him either.
