Great piece of investigative reporting by A.G. Gancarski at Florida Politics. Her financial shenanigans and husbands claims of chocking her daughter, where she actually lives and the location of her primary residence perhaps "Davie Florida" not Jacksonville and so much more including her apparent disregard of the laws concerning corporate distributions and expenditures. That cult business she runs sure is profitable!

QuoteArdell Daniels filed for divorce in September in Davie, where the couple "owns a marital home together," about 350 miles south of Jacksonville. The mortgage on home is $3,674 a month.
In the filing, Ardell Daniels claims to "have devoted himself" to his wife and that "the accumulation of the Wife's assets has been accomplished largely as a result of the contribution and support of the husband." This is a key point

Yikes. It's a long article, but here's the Cliffs notes version: Vote Brosche.
This isn't even close to the craziest thing about her....and that's crazy.

I expect the pastor to cast out the demons keeping her and her husband apart! After all, they claim they're apostles, so they must have the gift....

The Honorable Bill Gulliford
Office of the City Council
117 West Duval Street, Suite 425
Jacksonville, Florida 32202
Dear Councilman Gulliford,
An article written by A.G. Gancarski indicates there is possible evidence that Kimberly Daniels is not properly qualified to serve as a member of the Jacksonville City Council (Kim Daniels' divorce filing yields questionable financial details; http://floridapolitics.com/archives/19836).
According to divorce documents filed with the court, there are deed transfers to and from Ms. Daniels (and her husband) and a corporate entity that she owns related to a "marital home" in Davie, Florida. Further, there are no properties in Jacksonville, Florida owned by Ms. Daniels (or her husband).
Charter Section 5.07 indicates that the City Council shall judge the elections and qualifications of councilmen. It is therefore that I ask that you, as Rules Committee Chair, to order an investigation as to whether Ms. Daniels is qualified to serve in the At Large Group 1 seat that she currently holds and for which she is seeking re-election.
Sincerely,
Diane Melendez
interesting. I'll assume she is at least renting somewhere?
Thanks for sending the letter.
It's certainly worth looking into, but you don't have to own property in Duval (or anywhere at all) to sit on the Council. You just have to have residency there. It seems pretty clear she couldn't have residency in the Davie house if she's been locked out of it for months. The potential financial irregularity, though, is definitely worth looking into.
In evangelical Christianity, this is called going "On the fritz". Replace the "He" in the song with "She" and you will get the drift.

He wished to right the wrongs
He sang religious songs
He kept the private he
Under a lock and key
Heat keeps rising in an age of passion
Shakes a conscience to the core
Stopgap, hand-slap, take a tongue-lashing
My poor soul can't take any more
On the fritz
On the fritz
There he sits
On the fritz
He kept his ego there
It was a sad affair (on the fritz)
The inner circle knows
And so the story goes (on the fritz)
Airborne rumors chip away the image
But you knew the stakes were high
First they get you thinking you're a prophet
Now they've got you living a lie
On the fritz
On the fritz
There he sits
On the fritz
So the crowds grew, and their praise did too
And a mailing list sent you money
So they love Jerry Lewis in France
Does that make him funny?
It's too late for apologies when trust has been betrayed
Now victims of your double life are naming names
He kept his ego there
It was a sad affair (on the fritz)
The public's had enough
They've come to call your bluff (on the fritz)
Small talk breeds where kingdoms come crashing
Rumor conquers where it wills
No one hears you, go ahead and cash in
If you don't die to yourself
Pride kills
Dear Ms. Melendez,
I am in receipt of your email and after my initial investigation I will get back to you regarding this issue.
Thank you for your interest.
Regards,
Bill Gulliford
There is an old Cracker expression that seem apt here: "Crazy as a sprayed roach!"
This is now being investigated by the FBI.
The FBI is investigating whether or not Kimberly Daniels has legal standing to hold political office in Jacksonville?
I don't know the particulars of the FBI complaint. That was not initiated by me. Below is the response I got today to the email sent to Bill Guilliford.
Response:
I discussed this issue with the General Counsel and he supported the action I took at Rules Committee on Monday. At the end of the meeting I provided each member a copy of all correspondence and emails as well as your article. I indicated that should any member wish to initiate an investigation that opportunity was available to them. The Charter is very vague and the Rules Committee is not specifically tasked with such an action but it does seem logical that they would start it. Before any investigation the appropriate course would be an affirmative vote by the committee to proceed with such an investigation,
but normally the Chair does not offer motions. We will see how it evolves but I don't think there is any appetite to pursue it prior to the election for fear it might be view as political action by the committee or individual council members. Furthermore, the outcome of the election could make the issue irrelevant.
Lastly, the timing is such that procedurally, I don't believe ay action taken by the full council would see fruition before the May 19th election.
Should you discover more evidence that supports a position that she is not qualified I would appreciate your forwarding it to me and I will send it on to my committee members. Rules will meet again in two weeks.
Sincerely,
Bill Gulliford
Please let this be true. 8)
http://floridapolitics.com/archives/182485-will-the-jacksonville-city-council-investigate-kim-daniels According our our confidential source and the documents we have seen provided by the confidential source the information is accurate. This has only been said after our attorney reviewed the information and approved our statement publicly. We could care less about the divorce but residence is the issue in this article and our statements.
First Stephen I was no where the incident you are talking about with MAB. I have stated my non support for him prior due to his lack of movement on LGBT issues. At this point I have seen some movement on these issues and therefore changed my position on MAB. Nothing more than MAB evidently evolving on the issues thus gaining my support for him. As for the Daniels divorce we are concerned with the residence issue as I have stated. I would hope that any citizen in Jacksonville would appreciate being informed about a sitting City Council Person that may or may not have the proper residence requirement. That will be left up the courts to decide. I lay out the facts no matter where the come from for the people to decide and make their own decisions. If some ask my person opinion I will gladly provide my personal opinion.
I agree, the best remedy to this whole situation would be to elect Anna Brosche on May 19. That's my firm hope of the outcome.
Meanwhile, the TU has picked up on Tony's thread: http://jacksonville.com/news/metro/2015-05-05/story/despite-constituent-requests-jacksonville-councilman-hesitant
Thanks for the share Jimmy. The price of the "church" owned home blows my mind in that Daniels claims to be a pastor of the down on their luck. It makes me wonder how a ministry for the poor and broken can support such a property along with 30 vehicles? Lot's of questions considering the man who was married to her says she does not respect the rules of corporate finances and uses that money for private expenses. He should certainly have some insight into that. In any case as you said, hopefully it will be resolved by the election of Anna Brosche, but it is my guess the issue of the GI bill, potential tax evasion will not be ignored going forward.

It wasn't one, but both of the homes that are church owned.

I'm a Veteran, but I haven't used this particular program yet, so I'm not sure as to which part that she used. Although, my gut swings to the Cash Out Refinance Loan.
"Within the divorce documents she states she receives no salary from the ministries and only has her income from city council. The Davie home has over a $3,000 monthly mortgage that is through the GI Bill, which requires that the property with GI mortgage must be her primary residence."
I think it's quite ingenious to say she 'receives no salary from the ministries" but the ministry owns all her property, cars, and other lifestyle tools. How does this get by?
So are you for a crusty old republican or against another crazy democrat. She is the norm of the Dems.
Who can legitimize the "FBI investigation"?

Its not unusual for a business owner to place certain assets in the name of the firm they own to reduce their taxes. On the flip side they are required to generate the income necessary to support these company expenses.
As long as it is reported correctly, it is legal.
Now if the person is using company funds for personal use and not reporting it, that is something else.

Actually, you cannot quit claim the deed on a GI home which she did. She also tells her constituents that she gives all of her council salary to the poor via helping with food, clothing etc and they believe her. Yet she claims she lives off of her council salary. None of it ads up. If a complaint is made to the FBI, especially concerning a city official they will look into it. If they find any red flags the will look further. The thing is these types of investigations take a lot of time. I once had one that took two and a half years to find resolution. There are strict requirements under the GI bill for home ownership. If she misused that money she will face serious problems and they may come as a result of what her soon to be ex husband shares in the process of this divorce.

I'm viewing her 'ministry" as different from a business which pays taxes.
This is the kind of national press that comes with the likes of Kimberly Daniels. Jacksonville oh Jacksonville! Click link below for full story.

QuoteMeet New York Giants' David Tyree's Anti-Gay 'Spiritual Mother,' Who Says Jews 'Own Everything'
Quote
"You can talk about the Holocaust, but the Jews, they own everything!" blared Apostle Kimberly Daniels, who is part of an extreme Christian movement, the New Apostolic Reformation, which believes in a complete takeover of government. Following "7 Mountains" theology, the belief is that Christians must control -- and place individuals at the top of -- the seven pillars of society, from government and media to the worlds of business and entertainment, including sports. Daniels, an African-American woman, is also thankful for slavery, saying in the same sermon, "If it wasn't for slavery, I might be somewhere in Africa, worshiping a tree." The belief regarding the Holocaust and slavery appears to be that only by experiencing these horrors are groups "paid back" or rewarded by God.
This week, in an incredible report, Rachel Tabachnick at Political Research Associates unearthed the New York Giants' David Tyree's business and religious connections to Daniels, his "spiritual mother," and her radical movement. The Giants' recent hiring of former player Tyree as director of player development came under intense criticism last week, including by the Human Rights Campaign in a strongly worded press release, and by me, because of his past anti-gay advocacy, homophobic statements and belief that gays can be turned straight. Daniels is also at the forefront of the Christian extremists attacking LGBT rights and believes that homosexuals can pray away the gay. Here are excerpts from "Confession to Come Out of Homosexuality/Lesbianism" from her 2009 book, Prayers That Bring Change:
I no longer conform to and subject myself under the words and authority of the homosexual agenda. ... I repent for all the people I have recruited to join this army of darkness. ... I come against the vision of the rainbow that represented a covenant between the devil and me.
Her son had a cup of coffee with the Giants about a decade ago. Seems like she used that connection to make inroads with his teammates. I wonder how many other guys she was able to sucker into making her a "spiritual mother".

I would say quite a few since her "church" has been able to purchase at least two homes we know of values at nearly $1.2 million.

Holy crap. (Not the first expletive that came to mind)
Taken out of context or not, this single statement should basically make her as electable as this guy:

She has one son currently working in some regard with the NFL. Not sure if this is the same one.
