Jacksonville having such a large population of veterans and no VA Hospital certainly doesn't help this situation. Parking at the VA Clinic, and Gainesville's VA Hospital can be absolutely horrendous if you're not lucky. Sometimes I have to park at the Dept of Health across Jefferson St just to make an appointment at the Clinic; I can imagine how it is for someone who has limited mobility. The Jax VA clinic's dental wait times are very reasonable. I'm thinking that most of the lengthy times are from primary care.
