There will be two candidates facing each other down in the runoff for the Group 3 at large seat. In the original race there were these candidates and this is the voter breakdown:
Tommy Hazouri (D) 80,561 44.8%
Mincy Pollock (D) 23,424 13.03%
Jeff Youngblood (R) 75,840 42.17%
The May 19th election will have Hazouri and Youngblood facing off.
With Pollock in the race the percentage difference between them was just 2.63% with Hazouri leading Youngblood. With Pollack off the ticket and his votes going to Hazouri he should have an easy win. However there were 5,570 votes not cast by voters in the race during the last election. Someone will have to work on capturing those. Clearly however the above will depend upon the turn out next election which is expected to be a bit higher than the last go round.
