Nice meeting you last night! I'm interested to hear your thoughts on the event. I got the feeling that very few average voters were on hand and that a majority of the people there were working for one of the campaigns. I was also not a fan of how aggressive campaign flyers and materials were being distributed, I was bombarded with handouts before I even got to the door. What's your take?

Was a pretty standard Hob Nob really.  These events generally draw the most interested and engaged voters and those are usually folks attached to one candidate or another or political watchers.  :) The straw polls are fun but don't mean a whole lot.  They do however give a little extra positive push for some candidates and campaigns.  I had to smile about the efforts to hand out campaign literature, almost like running the gauntlet but the bottom line is we are closing in on early elections and everyone want's their candidate noticed first.
