Title: Jacksonville in the 1950s.
Post by: Carolgenc on February 22, 2015, 10:26:09 PM
Hello..My name is Carol and I lived In Jacksonville in the 1950s.  My late husband was a resident doctor at the old Hope Haven Hospital.  I was wondering if the hospital still exists.  Yes, I am very old--78 now.  But I have great memories of Jacksonville.

Here is a link to what Hope Haven is now.

For some reason I was thinking it used to be on Atlantic Blvd but I could be wrong.

Would love to hear of your memories in 1950's Jacksonville and see any pictures if you have any.

The hospital was torn down and is now home to an apartment complex. It was located near Atlantic/University, just past Empire Point.
