For those of you who may be interested, I'll be narrating a brief walking tour of Brooklyn, for the American Planning Association's First Coast Chapter, tomorrow morning.

Here's the details:

Join us for a short walking tour of Downtown Jacksonville's Brooklyn neighborhood. Learn about its rich history and how much of it was destroyed by the construction of I-95 and the widening of Riverside Avenue. Tour exciting new construction that is reshaping the area (new apartment developments, the Brooklyn Station shopping center, and Unity Plaza) and hear about gentrification concerns.

We'll meet up for breakfast at Corner Bakery (192 Riverside Avenue, Jax 32202) starting at 7:30am. The walking tour will begin from there a little after 8:00am.

Hopefully the rain will stay away until at least 9am!
