Chef Kenny Gilbert is still looking for backers for his planned restaurant Downtown, but that isn't stopping him from moving ahead with a new eatery. Gilbert recently signed a five-year lease for a restaurant at 510 S. 8th St. in Fernandina Beach. The restaurant, dubbed Gilbert's Underground Kitchen will have 74 seats, including a 20-seat lounge area, 30-seat dinning room and a 24-seat patio.
