It is almost better than blocking your own player in football
Particularly considering the guy who tipped it in was a walk-on who had been playing the game of his life up to that point.
The Gods are smiling on Florida State this week.
Oregon doesn't have a PRAYER tomorrow :D

QuoteThe Noles win it the old fashioned way , by accident.

there were probably as many Gator fans in the arena as 'Noles fans....of course I'm sure they were just on their way to the Birmingham Bowl :o :o
Yep, I'll be heading to the "Toilet" Bowl on Saturday. Actually gonna check out the new CFB HOF in Atl on Friday. Should be fun.
RIP University of Florida athletics.

The game was stupidly scheduled during the middle of Christmas break, so most students couldn't attend. I went to quite a few FSU basketball games while I was a student. The Civic Center was a ghost town for plenty of games but when UF came to town it would be sold out every time.
I wish the game would move back to being played the Friday night before the football game but apparently neither Hamilton or Donovan are in favor of that.

The Duke games were always packed and rowdy too.

I agree 100%. It added to the rivalry imo.
Love that the guy that tipped it in is named Kurtz. The horror, The horror....
As for attendance, after being the 3rd best team in the ACC for a 4 or 5 year stretch FSU has had a couple down seasons. In 2011 when we were good, we averaged 9,327 a game. UF averaged 10,186.
We've got a filthy recruiting class coming in next year and will hopefully get back to being a Top 25 caliber team again. We all know Donovan will get UF back to winning ways again soon.

Don't worry, they'll be back just as soon as they run that Temple outsider out of Miami, and go back to recruiting South Florida. It will take one more mediocre season to get this happen but in the meantime, after tonight we'll know the Canes' 34 game winning streak won't be in danger anymore.
^ with Randy Shannon at UF, recruiting South Florida just got a bit tougher for UM.
Look on the bright side...maybe you'll have a more intimate stadium to play in by 2017....if Beckham and the City can find an appropriate site for soccer ;)
