Music has the ability to touch hearts and minds in a way that influences our actions. The diversity of harmonies, vittorioso, tenerezza, sognando, and sanft just to name a few musical terms, cannot easily describe the affect music has on the human spirit.
The ability to change the emotional and mental direction of people, the capacity to soothe feelings and engage in heightened passions for movement with purpose and power.

The skill to vocally change pitch, tones and quality is a delight to the ears as notes are migrated from the vocal cords of the singer to the auditory receptors of the ears of the audience. The technicality of music can be scientifically explained, but such a clinical explanation takes away from the spiritual power and engagement that music provides.

NACAMA is not just any concert, but a harmonious rhapsody of acapella singing that requires no musical instruments. The clinical def. is: "a cappella: in the manner of singing in a chapel; i.e., without instrumental accompaniment." This provides a true artwork of accompaniment and complementary cooperation to produce a rich and acoustically coordinated sound.

The history, like other elements of musical creating is from Africa, musical
traditions passed down through the centuries. Traveled across the middle
passage on slave-ships that also brought with them story telling that contained the histories of families, tribes, cities and cultures. Acapella music is lively and celebratory, anyone can enjoy and be moved by it. It is a way of showing joy and sharing spiritually, the love of Christ through music. As you listen to the songs you not only see the feelings of joy on the faces of the performers, but feel the passionate embrace of the music that conveys love. A love and devotion centered around the Grace and Mercy we receive each day. The sacrifice of Jesus Christ to allow us to be forgiven of our sins.

NACAMA is casting a net through song to also catch the attentions of people in diverse backgrounds, cultures and genders sharing the glory of God. The doctrine of : Saving Souls and Keeping Souls Saved is a part of being a member of the Body of Christ. This is important in the actions of believe and understanding. Hearing the truth, believing the truth, repenting from your ways to God's ways, confessing that Jesus is Christ, and being baptized to be added to the Church. As a new convert I'm learning the value of understanding scripture to bring about understanding and intelligence.

The Church of Christ embraces acapella and shares it as in the Bible. As a
new convert learning the importance of scripture and its application
to life it is important to understand why acapella is important. Many people
question this form of musical endearment, but rarely do they understand the significance because of their sometimes limited or altered knowledge of scripture.

From scriptures:
"Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing"
PSA100:2, to "Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;" Eph 5:19 and even
"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and
admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord" Col 3:16

These are powerful and engaging words that emphasis the use of song to
praise and uplift the word and glory of God. Congregational songs have and are an element of worship. The human voice to God is the primary instrument to worship and praise.
God created man :
Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man [of] the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. KJV
The praises of man are lifted up to God to edify and exalt him, written throughout the Bible are examples such as Psalms 100:2 Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
This is important in allowing people to understand why singing is vital and an integral part of worship.

The NACAMA is an opportunity for worship and fellowship. The Church of
Christ welcomes those with a heart to worship, spirit of peace and fellowship, and even questions about the following the word of God as a member of the Body of Christ.
Come to CAMA to celebrate and fellowship and even learn about the meaning of scriptures.
