Title: the alibi closed?
Post by: banjo on November 24, 2014, 07:20:27 PM
Driving past it looks like the alibi closed. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about it. I would have thought that place would have lived on forever like a cockroach. I liked stopping in occasionally for darts and cheap beer.

According to their Facebook page, they took over the Norm spot.  And they open at 8am. Nice!

While I loved the Alibi - it's nice seeing Murray Hill undergo these changes - would love to see a 13 Gypsies-esque tapas restaurant open in that space. We need some more diverse food options in the neighborhood!

Diverse? You have 5-star pizza and some other pizza place on Edgewood, as well as more convenience stores in 1 mile than you will see anywhere in jax, what else does the area need?
