Title: Best Firewood?
Post by: InnerCityPressure on October 20, 2014, 12:50:33 PM
I've bought Craigslist firewood the past two winters.  Both loads have been wet and downright frustrating.  Anybody know a guy in town or with delivery?

I think your best bet is to buy it way ahead of time and keep it covered any drying over the summer.  Otherwise I've had the same experience as you with bought wood.

There are a couple of sellers on Girvan road about a mile or so from Atlantic Boulevard. Their wood sits out all summer. I buy as needed. Never had a problem.

Shaw's Tree Service sells seasoned oak firewood.  This is the second year buying from them and it's good stuff.

Thanks guys.  I live right down the street from Dog Walker, so that's definitely going to be closest :)
