Title: International Swim Hall of Fame in Jacksonville?
Post by: TheCat on October 06, 2014, 08:52:55 AM
QuoteJack Manilla of Portofino Pools wants to bring the International Swim Hall of Fame — and all the economic impact that comes with it — to Jacksonville.

It all started when Manilla was in Tallahassee. He heard the hall of fame was looking for a new home and asked, "Why don't you come to Jacksonville?"

The International Swim Hall of Fame is in its 50th year, leasing a space owned by the city of Fort Lauderdale. This year, the city hired a developer to redo the several blocks where the facility is located.
