Oh interesting. I assumed it was the Veterans United one at first...cool to see another group toss their hat into the growing list of microbrews.

Seems a lot more interesting and accessible than Veterans. A deck over the water ...

Pretty cool. I indirectly helped pave the way for this.  I was involved with the party that rezoned this property for a higher intensity commercial land use in 2007. I'll post a few renderings of that old project when I get some time to upload them. It's nice to see that process helped ease the way for another development seven years later.

A brewery in St. Augustine is in the works too. I truly believe we have the opportunity to become the Asheville of Florida. Especially if our city gov't gets behind our industry.

Or, better yet, stays out of the way.

Not sure naming it "Wicked Barley" is a great branding strategy considering "Wicked Weed" in Asheville is a well regarded and rapidly growing brewery. In fact those names are so close, I'd be curious to know if "Wicked Weed" has a copyright claim. I'm sure Intuition can better speak on the subject, but I've heard Wicked Weed has a chance to grow into a prominent regional/national brand, so I don't think either operation would want the brand confusion.

Other than that, cool site and great project. I like Intuition's idea and think we have the critical mass to start branding ourselves as a beer destination. I was at a luncheon recently and people at my table from Orlando and South Florida were both jealous of the quality and quantity of our local breweries.

I think on other side of San Jose.  I was thinking east of the condos being built, but not really sure.

It's on Baymeadows at Goodbys Creek, maybe half mile east of San Jose. If you're going east from San Jose, it's the empty land on the right immediately after the bridge.

There is a boat ramp component and it didn't go to Waterways?

Still have an open contest if anyone can take a picture of the NEW Downtown Waterway signage that was never before Waterways and post it on MJ. Will treat you to Charley C's, Chopstick Charley's and we'll use Über.

Let's scout out this Tomahawk Chop Chop Waterway Brewery destination that can only be a positive addition to Jacksonville's Downtown International Redneck Kayak and SUP launch 2014-190. Was this location in the secret 8/13/14 Downtown Docking Zone Map that nobody on Waterways knew about?

What is the position of the Riverkeeper on this boat ramp? Public? Private? Small or large craft?
