Title: what's going on with downtowns street corners?
Post by: jaxjaguar on September 17, 2014, 12:43:09 PM
Over the past month I've noticed construction crews completely tearing up the sidewalk corners near metro lofts and city place. They seem to have really picked up the pace recently... I've counted 12 removed and replaced as of this afternoon. Any one know what's going on? It's extremely noisy...

Probably making them ADA accessible.

The City is working like crazy to meet the terms of settlement with the Federal government over ADA violations throughout the city streets and buildings.
