Former Florida Rep. Allen West declared President Obama an Islamist who is intentionally working against the security of the United States.
"The only plausible explanation for many actions taken by President Obama and his administration is that they are working counter to the security of the United States of America," the former Florida congressman and retired U.S. Army lieutenant colonel wrote in the post published Wednesday.
Among six example he gives to back up his point is Obama's decision to release of five Taliban in exchange for Sgt. Bergdahl in May, providing weapons of support to the Egyptian government led by the Muslim Brotherhood, and negotiating with Hamas.
He also writes at length about Obama's recent decision to lift a ban on Libyan's attending U.S. flight schools and studying nuclear science, which had been in place since 1983.
"Can anyone explain what the strategy and objective is here in lifting this ban with a nation that is or should be on the terrorist watch list?" he asks. "Sorry, but I can only explain this one way: Barack Hussein Obama is an Islamist in his foreign policy perspectives and supports their cause."
"The pivot away from the Middle East seems to be nothing more than an opportunity to enable Islamists and their goals," he continues. "Anyone supporting this Libyan ban being lifted is indeed an enemy of this state."

There is only one explanation for this stupidity. He's a Republican. Sorry all the conservatives who post here. These people are making asses of themselves and it's hard to believe the American public actually believe any of this garbage. In all my years I have never seen anything like the constant barrage of vicious comments and opinions of Obama. If these things had been said in the past you would have been accused of not respecting the office. Now anything goes.

Our current president is just not in line with some of the established ways things have been done previously and chooses his own ways and paths to reach his goals.
In some ways this makes him less predictable and that makes people uncomfortable.
Can't say I agree with his approach in all things but that is how it's been with every president.
His weekly calls with Putin is a completely anti Cold War tactic. It baffles people because publicly he pushes for more sanctions yet he talks with Putin constantly. This is something contrary to what we are used to.
I think it baffles Putin too.

He's entitled to his own opinion, but not his own facts. Calling the president an "Islamist" is so far outside the realm of reality, if West isn't stupid, he's certainly very ignorant.

Using Allen West to label all Republicans as stupid is no different than using Corrine Brown (or Hank Johnson from GA - Guam capsizing) to label all Democrats as stupid. Both are a load of crap.
