JACKSONVILLE, Fla.-- A local community is taking action against a so-called nuisance neighbor.
"Be a good neighbor. Talk to your neighbors first," said neighbor Lori Lee.
Lee lives in Arlington and is proud of it. So are many of her neighbors. Pink flamingos are the community's sign of unity. But many of the proud community members feel they're being bullied by what they call a nuisance neighbor.
"Stop photographing, stop stalking us and just give us peace," said neighbor Angeliea Oliver.
They're talking about Roberta Thomas. Just this week, fed up neighbors tried to send Thomas a cease and desist order demanding she stop turning them into the city for code violations they call petty.
"She doesn't like my water well. She doesn't like Christmas decorations," said Oliver.
"Where I place my garbage can, where I park, impeding a sidewalk," said neighbor Bart Crocco of some of the complaints she has made against him.
Thomas has repeatedly contacted city leaders about code violations in her area. City Councilman Clay Yarborough tells Action News Thomas has sent him more than 3,000 emails since 2007 about various problems. He says while some are legit, others are a drain on city resources.
Thomas told us over the phone, "I have done nothing wrong. Of the people I'm told who have been involved in complaints against me, I believe city record show that most have a long history of valid city code violations."
The neighborhood is planning a get together Saturday afternoon. Thomas has also sent Action News emails about issues in her community for many years.

Roberta Thomas is a huge pain in the butt. I wish she'd just move. Fortunately she doesn't venture into my neighborhood, most likely because our civic association ignores her.
