A local developer has closed on the former Dolphin Depot site in Jacksonville Beach. A mixed-used development that will include 54 apartments above storefront retail is planned.

Great!
I'm in Dallas and once again blown away with all the infill happening throughout the region. When I came 1.5 years ago I was quite impressed, but this time around I've gotten a much more in depth tour of the many neighborhoods and it's all so very...well...impressive.
This kind of development needs to become standard in Jacksonville...not just the Beaches or Urban Core...but it is a start.
Good news. This kind of thing is much needed for the Beaches as it becomes more and more of nightlife and tourist destination.
