Thanks for posting this! Now can you please hide it until after I've gone and gotten my bread? :D J/k - I hope they have a great turnout.
Fantastic

Bernie's Wine Stop
Swimming Yesterday
Its great to have something like this within walking distance.
I got a loaf of bread and some banana bread from them and I am going to keep buying my bread from them. No other store can compare to community loaves!

What kinda shops, could you tell?
Most looking forward to trying them out!
This is another perfect example how Murray Hill is really a bohemian Mayberry.

I've only seen a couple of shops that are opening. Bold Bean roasting, Kneadbake house and Across the Street (which is suppose to be a music venue that will serve alcohol!!!
Murray Hill is slowly growing!
Hopefully a good store will take over the old Fat Kat location. :)

No kidding, right?
They really need to be 24/7 to make sure that if we're in the mood for a Jalepeno Cheddar loaf at 2am on a Wednesday, we should be able to get that fix.
Or......
Maybe we can take a break from our 'hectic' schedules, drop by while they're currently open and see if what they offer is worth getting up 10 minutes earlier for work on Tuesday to drop in for a 9-grain loaf.
Maybe, just maybe, you even strike up a conversation with the girl/guy behind the register and ask some questions about what they're offering. I'm willing to bet that they're a helluva lot more knowledgeable and passionate about their work (probably has more invested in the place than you realize) than the typical Gate employee even though they aren't open after 3.
I am addicted to there breads. I will be there with bells on.
Fresh bread...sooooo good.
Community Loaves oven is broken and they have a Kickstarter to get funded so they can buy a new one. They are not asking for donations, they are basically asking for people to pre-buy their product.

Please share far and wide, they have an excellent product, they are local and deserve our support!
Thanks!
What's the hoopla over their baking? It's pretty hard on Day 1 and rock hard on Day 2. Flavor is strange and uncharacteristic of sourdough bread.
Why can't they take a loan? Where's the risk-taking that built the 'American Dream'?
These ladies have definitely bring some zest and life to edgewood ave and I love there bread and pizza night. I have no problem prepaying for a loaf of bread to help to help them out.
Are they the ones that have a booth at the Riverside Arts Market?
yep
