Having worked there before when they built their current office space, unless they have really changed their ideas I would not see them moving downtown.

Yeah, I would suspect as much. But as the article notes, there are very few options for what they want. A couple options on the southside and a couple downtown. So I'm sure they're researching it.

Too bad they are not staying in Tallahassee.  We need more IT jobs in Tally.

Everbank Center is one of the 2 finalists for their relocation of 950 jobs per story in Daily Record.  The other location is Prominence Center in Baymeadows.  Decision expected 11/3.

Holy cow! That's quite a jump from 150.... 950 new faces downtown would be amazing! Here's hoping someone does whatever it takes to make this happen!!

The 150 are jobs being relocated from Tallhassee to Jax.  The 950 is what the total employment count will be in Jax with their current workforce plus the transfers from Tallahassee and what will actually be employed at their new location.

I hope they end up downtown also; however, if not downtown, I sure as hell hope they end up in Jacksonville!

Well they are already in jacksonville.  So I think that is a safe bet.

They already have a lot of space at JTB and I-95. Why send them all over town or split them when there is lots of available space on the southside? Unless Mayor Brown bends over and gives them a helluva package, which he may have already....

^ from what I understand, the deal at Everbank Center is pretty good...and likely competitive with the one off Baymeadows.

That said, I don't think you understand....Citizens is looking to consolidate ALL of their operations in one location...so whether its downtown or the southside, they won't be spread "all over town"

Interesting. So there's a 50% chance I'd have to share my six personal elevators with other people!
