A New York stylist named Gwynne Mims is gonna open her upscale hair salon on Margaret Street. Her namesake hair salon 'Gwynne Mims Salon' will open on May 1.

Wishing her much success! Love the honesty about not really liking NYC.
Woot. A nice addition to the City. Glad to hear it.
Thank god someone has finally put a salon in Riverside. Now if they could just get a sushi place and some sandwich shops...
and a pizza place...give RAP something to whine about
Best of luck to her.
To go along with the hair salon theme, the TU featured a slideshow '21 Jacksonville hair salons with names to 'dye' for". :)

Hopefully she has style and can actually provide our Jacksonville ladies with hair styles of the moment.
"It's a clean, sophisticated space, with touches of whimsy — pink flamingo wallpaper in the bathroom, gold-plated safari animal figurines, a light fixture with egg-shaped rainbow bulbs — sprinkled throughout."
Oh dear...I'll try to reserve my judgement until I see this place in person, though, from the sounds of it...good lord.
Its great to have a high level of talent moving to the city. good to see Gwynne doing so well in our city. With over 3500 Jacksonville Area Salons (http://salonjax.com) to choose from it can be hard to stand out, but quality work speaks for itself.

If quality work speaks for itself, why bother creating an account and posting links to your website? Or are you saying that the stylists at your establishment don't do quality work?
Gwynne is awesome and a very smart business woman!
