QuoteThe owners of M Shack have signed a letter of intent to open a restaurant in the new Shoppes on Riverside. Matthew Medure said he has signed a LOI to go into the center, but he hasn't signed the lease.

Yummy! I would still prefer one in San Marco, but will take this new location as a consolidation.
^ they plan to do both. San Marco will open first
I've been to the one at SJTC a few times, the burger was pretty good, but it wasn't the best I've had. I still prefer The Loop or Poe's Tavern.
This will be a great local independent option to complement the national Corner Bakery and Fresh Market chains. Kudos to the leasing agents.

You sure that's still on?
I look forward to M Shack opening in the Urban Core. I went to the M Shack at the Beaches for lunch and waited so long in line that I gave up and went someplace else...
^ I heard about the Riverside deal about two weeks ago from folks at M Shack. Those same people told me the San Marco location would likely open in late summer. It will be different in that it will be more of a walk-up service (think Pat's / Geno's Steaks in Philly) since the building serves as a commissary for all their restaurants.
M Shack plans to open at 1012 Margaret St, in the Five Points Village.
