Title: Where do you shop to save money?
Post by: TheCat on March 09, 2014, 07:35:32 PM
What local shops do you go to to save a few dollars?

I've just started going to Lee Carroll's Meat Shoppe. I think they butcher everything on site. The costs are lower than your typical grocery store.

If you follow their calendar...pretty cool. They sell 3.99 8oz fillets at the end of every month.

At one time, didn't they have an outlet on the Northside (near Trout River)?

Agreed, when I lived in Springfield I shopped at a butcher with great prices right at the intersection of Pearl and Tallulah and thought it went by same name. Don't know if still there.
