Hello METROJAX and Jacksonvillians; it's been a long time since I posted anything. Now this might be "old" news, but I went through the METROJAX Forum in the "Downtown" Section and did not see anything (unless I missed it), regarding this project. It is called the "SEAGLASS TOWER," and I did find an article on it, but failed to find anything in our Forum about it for the exception of possible development on the Shipyards Property (in which this project is not really mentioned).
If this is built, or if it is still on the drawing board or proposed stage, this would be huge for Jacksonville and especially for downtown; a 1,000 foot observation tower? Downtown? If anyone cruising down I-95 saw it, they would screech on brakes in an instant.
Here are a couple of links to it, and please educate me on this or bring this old Navy guy up to date. Thanks y'all!!!

Old news and no one on here is interested from the responses that came out when this news first came out.
Thanx Keith for your help.
