Jacksonville has its fair share of sub sandwich locales throughout and there is a new locally owned one that has hit the streets in the Englewood neighborhood.
Baldinos Subs of Jacksonville has opened at 5921 University Blvd. right in front of the Winn Dixie in the Santa Monica Shopping Area.
Every place has some special thing that makes them standout and in this case it is Baldino's fresh deli bread. Subway or Jimmy John's this is not. White or Wheat are the only choices, but it is fresh and tastes very, very good and makes the sub taste great.
Regular subs, grilled subs and cheese steaks are all part of Baldinos menu.
They cater parties and have several deli sides and sweets you can pick up as well.
I have tried it a few times and it is worth a try especially if you want to break from the Subway/Firehouse/Quiznos/JimmyJohns taste bud.
