Thanks for always keeping us up to date. A while back, I wondered how the apartment owners would be filling all those new units. But after this winter, I'm wondering if there will be enough units for all the people who will be leaving the "cold cruel North"!
Just left Cinci and it was -5. I couldn't wait to get back.
Anyone know anything about Barberitos off of SS behind the new Chase branch? I've seen the sign up for a while & know it's a chain of sorts, but not sure if it's open yet and/or how it is(?).

Yes, blizz01, Barberitos is currently under construction between AAA and Publix. They have demolished the interior and are starting reconstruction. As far as I know, they will be the first Barberitos in Jacksonville. They are mostly in Georgia and the Carolinas, and I've heard good things about their food. With the Deerwood Lofts opening soon, I expect to see the open retail spots fill up around the Publix area on Touchton and SS. Hopefully with more dining options. ;D
Still amazed that Bento is opening up a few minutes away from it's first location. In a city this size you'd think they'd want to cover more ground...perhaps there's more to it?
Pretty sure that I saw a Colonel Mustard's sign @ Baymeadows & Philips yesterday (possibly where Ancient City Subs is/was).
^^my understanding it is going into vacant space next to Ancient City.
